Account Manager (Print + Retail Point of Sale), Amsterdam

Purpose of the job

Our Account Managers are responsible for managing and delivering solutions for our clients through close work with internal teams and local partners. You'll need experience of working with clients and delivering ongoing solutions to resolve their challenges - taking ownership of various relationships and developing them further.

This exciting opportunity is to serve a market leading global client in the confectionary / FMCG sector.  You will work on a range of projects for both retail and out-of-home environments.  Solutions will be varied and include temporary and permanent point of sale materials (POSM), 2D print, 3D print, vinyl / stickers, signage, and visibility collateral which might include flags, A frames, range price boards etc.

This role operates on a blended basis between the local HH Global office, client / vendor site(s) and home as necessary.

Key responsibilities

• Take briefs from the client including full specification details and deadline dates and manage project delivery from start to finish, suggesting alternative options and innovation where possible - own the process
• Provide technical input and advice on projects as required, briefing suppliers on precise client requirements and delivering exceptional levels of customer service
• Monitor projects to ensure they are delivered to specification and on time while implementing new methods and procedures as required - collaborate across multiple teams and utilize HH Global’s full-service offering
• Deliver contractual requirements, prepare presentations and complete necessary account administration and reporting while keeping accurate records
• Agree and manage budgets and P Ls, ensuring profit is maximized through analysis of performance
• Deliver services to meet and exceed contracted SLAs while ensuring compliance with Regulatory and Company policies

Knowledge, skills experience

• Client service management experience, including time spent working on client site(s), developing and maintaining client relationships across multiple vendors against agreed SLAs KPIs
• Commercial bias / understanding and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously through time management prioritization skills
• Project Management mindset - process driven with a focus on sales and business development
• Experience in troubleshooting unexpected project issues and implementing preventative measures
• Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, presentation), with clarity of expression and the ability to present to and influence various stakeholder groups at all levels of seniorit
• Fluency in Dutch and excellent English

 Essential criteria

• Excellent communication skills – the ability to engage face to face with our client in the location(s) specified and build strong longstanding relationships
• Experience within Client Engagement role(s) across a range of the project and spend areas detailed above 
• Fluency in Dutch and excellent English
• A strong focus on operational excellence - a highly organized, structured and trustworthy individual that can balance working within a fast-paced environment whilst maintaining an excellent level of service delivery
• Commercial awareness - experience of working with a supply chain to deliver against committed savings using various commercial methodologies
