This person is responsible for the accurate, safe, and efficient installation of framed, semi-frameless, and frameless shower enclosures in residential and commercial properties. Responsibilities:
- Measure, prepare, and install a variety of shower doors (framed, semi-frameless, frameless) at customer sites.
- Interpret work orders, schematics, and manufacturer instructions accurately.
- Perform on-site inspections to ensure installation readiness (plumb walls, level floors, correct materials).
- Safely load, transport, and unload materials and tools to job sites.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the work area and company vehicle.
- Communicate effectively with customers, team members, and supervisors.
- Handle customer concerns or questions in a professional manner.
- Follow all safety guidelines and use appropriate PPE.
- Document job completion, including measurements, issues, and photos.
Qualifications:
Required:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in glass installation, carpentry, or a related field preferred.
- Ability to read a tape measure, levels, and use basic hand and power tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Ability to lift 75 lbs and perform physical labor, including climbing ladders and standing for extended periods.
Preferred:
- Experience with frameless shower door installations.
- OSHA certification or construction safety training.
- Customer service or client-facing experience.
Salary commensurate with experience.
