Foreman

Trade31 is looking for a Foreman I who takes pride in leadership, craftsmanship, and getting the job done right. As part of our team, you’ll lead work crews in the field, delegate tasks, and mentor craftsmen while actively contributing to the hands-on work. You’ll play a key role in executing construction plans, maintaining safety and quality standards, and ensuring projects are completed successfully. This is a position for someone who values teamwork, continuous improvement, and making a direct impact on every project.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage small work crews, delegating daily and weekly tasks

• Perform general labor with knowledge of building or repairing walls per construction plans

• Ensure craftsmanship, safety guidelines, and installation best practices are followed

• Mentor and support entry-level employees in skill development

• Perform demolition and tear-down work as needed

• Communicate consistently with the team to keep work aligned and productive

• Continuously develop and expand personal skill sets

• Complete a variety of job duties efficiently and in accordance with project requirements

• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications, Skills and/or Education Required: 

• High School diploma or GED required.  

• 2-3 years’ experience working with carpentry tools, carpentry projects or other installations.  

• Minimum of 3 years as a proven successful Lead Carpenter or Senior Tech.  

• OSHA 30 Certification. 

Ability to Travel, commute/relocate: 

• Must be able to travel locally within a reasonable distance from the main office and with reasonable notice from management. 

• A valid driver’s license is required for this role. For some locations or clients, a REAL ID-compliant license may be necessary to gain access to secure facilities. If you do not currently have a REAL ID, we encourage you to apply—we can assist with next steps.
