JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

- Create cabinets and specialty items with materials such as wood, veneer, and laminates.
- Assist the Project Lead by cutting panel products and laminates, hand filing, spraying contact cement, sanding, drilling, assembly of case goods and other specialty items.
- Set up and operate a variety of woodworking machines and use various hand tools to fabricate and repair wooden cabinets and high-grade furniture
- Study blueprints or drawings of articles to be constructed or repaired and plan sequence of cutting or shaping operations to be performed.
- Continuously develop self-knowledge pertaining to new methods, tools, standards or practices related to the construction of the projects the role is assigned to.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience.
- OSHA 10 Certification.
- Must demonstrate the ability and willingness to learn all aspects of millwork and cabinet making.
- Must have the ability to travel to jobs which may require overnight stays.
- Ability to work with basic mathematical concepts.
- Good communication skills, demonstrated through effective verbal and written communication.
