HGA is seeking an experienced Safety Manager / Safety Coordinator to work onsite with field teams and support daily safety operations for active construction projects in Shreveport, LA. - Work onsite with construction and field teams to support all safety-related activities.
- Conduct site walks, compliance audits, and safety inspections using company safety platforms.
- Assist with JSAs, orientations, near-miss reporting, incident documentation, and toolbox talks.
- Use safety software such as Sitedocs, Procore, and other project-specific systems (training provided).
- Communicate regularly with owners, developers, and project leadership on safety requirements and findings.
- Ensure alignment with OSHA 1926 (Construction) and OSHA 1910 (General Industry) standards.
- Minimum 5 years of construction safety experience.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA 1926 and 1910 safety standards. OSHA 30 or OSHA 510 required.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both field and client stakeholders.
- Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred but not required.
- Must be located within daily commuting distance of Shreveport, LA, or willing to relocate for the duration of the project.
