What You’ll Do
- Assist individuals with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and medication administration.
- Support individuals in community integration activities such as shopping, medical appointments, and social events.
- Promote independence and encourage skill development through positive reinforcement and individualized support plans.
- Maintain accurate documentation of services provided and report any changes in individual’s condition or behavior.
- Ensure a safe, respectful, and supportive environment for all individuals served.
- Collaborate with team members, families, and healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.
- Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Valid Michigan Driver’s License with a clean driving record required
- Ability to pass pre-employment screenings
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to follow care plans and work independently or as part of a team.
- Compassionate, patient, and respectful attitude.
- Experience preferred, but not required — we provide training
