What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Technician 2 position at HG External?
The Maintenance Tech II performs work in connection with the operation, maintenance, and security of building, grounds, and facilities in order to ensure efficient plant operation.
Pay range $25.00-$27.00 per hour depending on experience.
Full time Monday-Friday, 7:30am-4:00pm.
A day in the life might include:
- planning, scheduling, participating in, and inspecting the work of outside contractors engaged in the operation, maintenance, repair, and safeguarding of buildings and Community
To be successful in the role, you would have:
- 4 years of previous experience in building maintenance or construction, or any equivalent combination of training and experience
- Certification, license or equivalent as required under state and/or local regulation to operate or repair certain equipment in a technical field such as HVAC, building trades or building utilities program preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Current & valid Drivers’ License and driving record free of major infractions
- Availability that includes evenings and some weekends
Must have experience with RealPage OneSite or similar software, MS Office, including Outlook, Teams, and Excel. Must have current driver’s license and insurable to drive community vehicle.
Under limited supervision, the Maintenance II performs semi-skilled work in connection with the operation, maintenance, and security of building, grounds, and facilities on order to ensure efficient plant operation. Plans, schedules, participates in, and inspects the work of outside contractors. Completes work orders in a timely manner. Anticipates community needs, including set up for community events.
Janitorial duties may be necessary on occasion. This includes cleaning common areas, waste removal, vacuuming/mopping floors, wiping down surfaces, etc…
Team Member may be on call in case of emergency. As a representative of the company, professional, empathetic customer service is expected at all times.
