What are the responsibilities and job description for the Home Care Aide Part-Time position at HG External?

Shifts available: Part-time hours vary needs weekend availability; to discuss schedule and hours at time of interview
Per Diem- flexible hours- availability needs discussed at time of interview
Pay range: $17 per hour.
Must be 21 years old or older and Driver's License required**
To be successful in the role, you would have:
- Preferred caregiving experience or similar role experience
- Current CPR
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Valid driver license to transport residents to and from appointments, shopping, errands, etc.
Work Duties:
- Providing a fun environment for residents
- Light housekeeping and laundry
- Bedmaking
- Companionship and emotional support (walks, games, crafts, etc.)
- Escort/transportation to and from appointments, errands, activities, etc.
- Periodic pet care
- Minimal assisting with activities of daily living (ADL’s) including bathing, grooming, dressing, etc.
