What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Club Manager (Spring Branch) position at HFP Spring Branch, LLC?
Position Objective: The Assistant Club Manager will be responsible for assisting the Club Manager with day-day club operations to ensure that performance and objectives are met to deliver an exceptional “Judgement Free” member experience! Essential Functions: • Assist in recruiting, hiring, training, and developing a high-performing staff that consists of Member Services Representatives, Fitness Instructors, and Overnight Member Services Representatives. • Assist with staff management and provide support to the Club Manager with reporting, inventory, and other assigned duties as needed. • Resolve member concerns in a fair and equitable manner. • Provide quality guest tours, info calls, and a positive member interaction that maximizes operating performance, membership sales, and retention. • Assist in administering and enforcing company policies and procedures with staff and members. • Ensure the gym is operated in a safe, and professional manner. • Perform daily inspections to maintain the cleanliness of the gym. Characteristics and Qualifications: • 6 – 12 months of experience in retail management is preferred. • Must be 18 years of age or older. • Ability to pass a background check. • Possess the ability to lead a team with strong communication/organization skills. • Ability to analyze and think strategically and rationally. • Exhibit attention to detail. • Willing to become CPR/AED Certified prior to gaining employment and maintain your certification while employed. • Competent with Microsoft Suite. Physical Demands of the Assistant Club Manager: • Continual standing and moving throughout the club during shift. • Able to work more than 40 hours per week • Ability to work overnight, if needed. • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds. • Will encounter toxic chemicals during shift. • Frequent cleaning and sanitizing of equipment and facilities. • Some bending, twisting, and reaching are required to accomplish tasks.
