Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Substance Abuse Counselor to join our addiction treatment team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive counseling services to groups(IOP), supporting recovery and behavioral health improvement. This role requires a strong understanding of clinical counseling techniques, addiction medicine, and patient care, with an emphasis on confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Complete and maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation for Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) services, including progress notes, treatment plan reviews, and other required records.
- Assist with the co-facilitation of IOP group sessions, promoting meaningful participation, engagement, and a supportive therapeutic environment.
- Provide ongoing support and guidance to IOP clients, addressing individual needs, identifying barriers to treatment, and assisting clients in achieving their treatment and recovery goals.
Pay: $25.00 - $32.00 per hour
