Position Summary:
Facilities Field Technician provides comprehensive maintenance support, including general repairs and construction-related work, to ensure a secure and well-maintained environment for residents and staff.
Position Responsibilities:
* Must follow HCF Policies and Procedures
* Must meet job related competencies as outlined in the Skills Competency Manual
* Perform routine and corrective maintenance (doors, windows, flooring, fixtures).
* Carpentry: framing, drywall, painting, trim work, cabinetry installs.
* Doors: Install frames, door slabs and commercial hardware.
* General concrete knowledge of cutting, removal, placement and finishing
* General Property maintenance: weed control, leaf and debris clean up
* Support Life Safety compliance and infection control protocols.
* Coordinate small capital projects and oversee vendors as needed.
* Perform other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Must have high school diploma or equivalent. Must be licensed to drive without restrictions. 5 years of multi-trade experience (maintenance, carpentry, construction). Proficiency or general knowledge in carpentry, drywall, painting, door hardware, electrical, plumbing, flooring. Valid driver s license and ability to travel between facilities. Preferred: experience in healthcare or senior living environments. Versatile and resourceful problem-solver. Strong craftsmanship and attention to detail. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Safety-first mindset and customer-focused approach.
