Education Requirements: Minimum BSCE/BSAE from an Abet Accredited Engineering Program. MSCE Preferred.
Licensure Requirements: Licensed Professional Engineer

Structural Engineer III
Job Requirements Include But Are Not Limited To
- Engineer has gained broad experience in multiple projects and building types or garnered enough experience in a single project type or client to be seen as highly knowledgeable in that particular area.
- Engineer has the ability to lead a client/client team (1-5 staff), most project types, or major portions of large project utilizing their experience and education in structural analysis and structural design using concrete, steel, wood, cold formed steel and masonry.
- Engineer shall have a good understanding of structural software programs, such as RAM Structural Systems, Enercalc, RAM Element, RAM Concept and apply the output to the design of the project.
- Engineer can work in an independent manner on most project and/or building types with minimal to no oversight by Engineer or Team lead.
- Engineer shall function as Design Lead or Engineer of Record, unless in a strictly technical role for the company.
- Engineer shall be able to train employees on company standards, drafting techniques, and technical questions pertaining to all aspects of structural engineering.
- Engineer will work in a collaborative environment with Architects and other Engineers to develop construction documents based on a clients' requirements, including most project management and construction administration functions.
- Engineer will be able to perform a high-level of quality control of their projects and others, for final review by Engineer of Record.
- Engineer will have direct client contact, unless in a strictly technical role for the company.
- Engineer will establish project budgets and work with team to ensure those projects are financially successful, unless in a strictly technical role for the company.
- Engineer could serve as Engineer of Record, with approval from Director or Executive, on more complex projects.
- Engineer shall be licensed in more than 5 states.
- Engineer shall be able to write specifications for any project type.
