Management Requirements: None required
Education Requirements: Equivalent of a Bachelors degree in Architecture or Interior Design or an
Architectural Studies Degree Preferred, But Not Required.
Licensure Requirements: None required
- Designer will use 2D and 3D software to assist the Design Team in the development of designs and drafting construction documents in support of clients' building program
- Designer should utilize education and experience to independently tackle challenges as they arise on projects with the support of Design Team lead.
- Designer shall gain experience evaluating client requirements, building code, and zoning regulations to develop design recommendations.
- Provide technical design planning and coordination in a collaborative and multi-disciplined environment
- Produce accurate construction documents detailing the clients vision and goals
- Document and analyze existing building conditions to produce as-built documents and reports (Travel required)
- Conduct building code analysis and research regulatory requirements to determine design constraints
- Develop design options and alternates
- Coordinate building components and systems with other disciplines to develop construction documents based on the clients requirements
- Designer shall perform quality control of their own work prior to giving to the Architect of
- Record for signing and sealing
- Depending on needs of client and team, Designer could have direct contact with client on a regular basis
