Pay & Benefits
An in-person background check is required.
- $22–$26 per hour, based on education and experience
- Attendance-based pay incentives
- Voluntary health benefits (Critical Illness, Accident, Hospital Indemnity)
- 401(k) retirement plan
- Monday–Friday availability required
- Must be available between 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM
- Completed AA degree or higher, OR currently enrolled in college (required)
- Experience working with children or tutoring preferred
- Comfortable tutoring Middle School Math and English Language Arts (ELA)
- Ability to manage small groups independently
- Comfortable working in a classroom setting
- Ability to pass an FBI-DOJ in-person background check (provided by HeyTutor)
- Spanish Bilingual is a plus
- Tutor small groups of Middle school students without direct teacher supervision
- Deliver lessons using provided curriculum and materials
- Create an engaging, welcoming learning environment
- Support positive student behavior and participation
- Track attendance and student progress using the HeyTutor Dashboard
- Assist with student assessments when requested
- Escort students to and from designated areas on campus
- Clock in/out daily using Deputy
- Complete additional duties as assigned
