Job Responsibilities

As a Beverage R&D Specialist, you will support the development and innovation of beverage products. You will apply your expertise in food and beverage research to assist in creating high-quality, market-relevant drinks. Key responsibilities include:

• Conducting research and analysis on food ingredients with a focus on beverage formulation and functionality.
• Studying the U.S. beverage consumption market, including local flavor preferences and emerging trends.
• Performing competitive research to identify market trends, new product opportunities, and areas for differentiation.
• Supporting the end-to-end beverage development process, including ideation, formulation, testing, and optimization.
• Working closely with cross-functional teams such as marketing, operations, and production to ensure smooth product development and implementation.
• Assisting in product innovation initiatives to strengthen the company’s beverage portfolio and maintain competitiveness.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications:

• Educational or professional background in food science, food research, or beverage development.
• Strong understanding of food ingredients and their applications in beverage formulations.
• Familiarity with the U.S. beverage market and ability to conduct competitor and trend analysis.
• Hands-on experience in beverage formulation, testing, and product development.
• Proficiency in both English and Chinese to support communication with global teams.
• Willingness to travel between China and the United States as required.
• Strong organizational and project coordination skills, with the ability to support cross-functional projects
