Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Payroll and Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing, maintaining up-to-date vendor records, and managing the full accounts payable cycle. This role plays a key part in supporting smooth financial operations by handling sensitive employee and vendor information with confidentiality, accuracy, and attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Process weekly/bi-weekly payroll accurately and on schedule.
- Maintain accurate and complete vendor records, including W-9s and payment terms.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and company accounting policies.
- Maintain organized and accurate electronic and physical records.
- Support audits by preparing necessary payroll and AP documentation.
- Collaborate with team members to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
- Process vendor payments, invoices, credit memos, and statements in a timely manner.
- Verify invoice accuracy, resolve discrepancies, and communicate with vendors as needed.
- Assist with month-end AP reporting.
- Review timecards, deductions, reimbursements, adjustments, and any off-cycle pay runs.
- Maintain employee payroll records and ensure compliance with federal, state, and company policies.
- Respond promptly to payroll-related inquiries from employees and management.
- Other duties as assigned.
Experience
- Prior administration or accounting experience is preferred, but not required.

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
