About The Opportunity

We are hiring an experienced Java Developer to join an on-site engineering team building mission-critical backend services. This role is hands-on and ideal for a developer who enjoys owning implementation details, improving performance, and shipping production code in an Agile environment.

Role & Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java backend services using Spring Boot and microservices patterns.
• Implement robust RESTful APIs and integrations with internal and third‑party systems.
• Author efficient SQL, optimise database access, and work with ORMs when appropriate.
• Write automated unit and integration tests (JUnit/TestNG) and participate in peer code reviews to enforce quality.
• Support CI/CD pipelines, containerized builds, and coordinate deployments to cloud environments.
• Collaborate with product owners, QA, and DevOps in Agile ceremonies and mentor junior engineers.
