Job Overview
This is a full-time, on-site contracting position for a GOFO Delivery Driver. Our warehouse is located in Fort Oglethorpe Ga, with delivery routes in East Ridge TN, Ringgold, Dalton, and Tunnel Hill GA. The driver is responsible for safely and efficiently transporting packages to assigned locations while maintaining excellent customer service. Daily duties include arriving at the warehouse on time, scanning and loading and unloading packages, following all safety and traffic regulations, and ensuring every delivery is handled with care. Drivers must use their own reliable vehicle for all deliveries.
Drivers MUST arrive at the warehouse at 5 a.m. sharp, which is essential for scanning and organizing all packages as a team before routes begin. Once the morning process is finished, drivers may head out and work through their routes at their own pace. Routes are not time based, so breaks can be taken when needed, but every package must be delivered by 9 p.m. to meet our service standards.
Qualifications
- Reliable personal vehicle suitable for package delivery
- Valid driver’s license
- Current, valid auto insurance
- Strong customer service skills and a professional attitude
- Good organizational and communication abilities
- Basic understanding of vehicle safety and upkeep
