Job description:
Position: Lead-Data Engineering
Location: King of Prussia, PA (Hybrid)
Hiring: W2 Contract / Fulltime
Responsibilities:
- Own end-to-end data strategy, data governance and data policies.ac
- Data governance is scoped to the analytics data estate only — not an enterprise-wide / whole-org governance program right now. One Catalog in Fabric is not sufficient on its own. It is focused on datasets only, so it cannot serve as the single governance layer; governance must be tool-agnostic and cover the wider estate.
- Working knowledge of data glossary, data lineage, data catalog, sensitivity labelling and data security.
- Define and advise on the right standards and good practices for governance and strategy initiatives.
- Expecting combined tooling process recommendation.
- Analyze and identify gaps in data governance, recommend mitigations, prepare documents.
- Provide proactive compliance, guidance and DG recommendations.
- Participate in client leadership meetings alongside Archana; work cohesively with her as the counterpart.
- Governance work is to be run in close collaboration with client leadership.
