Role : SQL Developer
Job Location McLean VA (onsite)

Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, views, and indexes to support reporting and application needs.
- Troubleshoot and resolve database-related performance and data issues.
- Support and maintain ETL processes including data extraction, transformation, and loading from multiple source systems.
- Perform unit testing, integration testing, and assist with deployment activities in coordination with release teams.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and standard operating procedures.
Required skills:
- 5 years of hands-on SQL development experience; ETL or data integration experience preferred.
- Proven experience as an SQL Developer or similar role working with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL).
- Hands-on experience developing stored procedures, functions, views, and schema objects.
- Experience with query tuning, indexing strategy, and performance troubleshooting.
- Working knowledge of ETL concepts and data integration principles.
- Solid analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work with large datasets.
- Good verbal and written communication skills; ability to work with cross-functional teams.
- Strong problem-solving orientation and ability to prioritize tasks.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Experience with Informatica PowerCenter, Informatica Cloud, or other Informatica products is nice to have.
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
