Responsibilities
As a Production Supervisor you will be the primary point of contact for production operators as you provide direct guidance within your area of responsibility on the third shift (12:00 midnight to 8:00 AM). You will oversee plant activities, delegate work assignments to ensure production standards and deadlines are safely and effectively met in the fulfillment of customer orders.

Responsibilities
As a Production Supervisor you will be the primary point of contact for production operators as you provide direct guidance within your area of responsibility on the third shift (12:00 midnight to 8:00 AM). You will oversee plant activities, delegate work assignments to ensure production standards and deadlines are safely and effectively met in the fulfillment of customer orders.
Requirements
- This position is subject to the requirements of the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) or Export Administration Regulations (EAR), as such, applicants must be a U.S. person defined as a citizen, national, U.S. lawful permanent resident, person granted asylee status in the U.S., or person admitted into the U.S. as a refugee
- Minimum of high school diploma or GED equivalent
- Must have at least three years manufacturing experience in a supervisory role
- Coordinate and direct the activities of the department to maximize productivity and minimize cost while maintaining quality and promoting safety, plant housekeeping, and employee morale
- Good problem solving and decision-making abilities
- Effective communication skills with the ability to communicate with all levels of the organization and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Great people skills
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite required
- Abel to work independently and within a team
- Generate results with general guidance from manager
- Experience with manufacturing software systems
- Continuous improvement training
- Lean manufacturing knowledge
- Exposure to systems controls such as ISO 140001
- Drive daily production results and respond to changes in demand
- Must be able to work third shift schedule 12:00 AM to 8:00 AM
- Ability to work on a two-week rotation schedule (8:00 AM to 4:00 PM and 4:00 PM to midnight)
- Must wear and use protective and safety equipment as required
- Be dependable and have strong work ethics
- Must be willing to submit to a background investigation
- Must be willing and able to pass a post-offer drug screen
Physical Requirements, with or without accommodation
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time (8 hours or more)
- Ability to stoop, kneel, and bend several times during a shift
- Ability to lift, push, pull, or move up to 50 lbs.
- Must be able to work in a factory setting (dusty, noisy, etc.)
