- Lead the development of the annual operating budget for assigned business units within the North Americas region. Prepare annual Midterm Financial Plan
- Analyze monthly general ledger transactions affecting Profit and Loss
- Prepare and analyze Profit & Loss Statements against budget, forecast and historical results, including Services, Product, and Maintenance Revenues/Cost of Goods Sold, Sales & Marketing Expenses, and Research & Development costs
- Provide various recurring and ad hoc reports to business unit and financial leadership which assist in decision making on project and bid prioritization, operations budgeting, and resourcing
- Identify variances in P&L lines and Key Performance Indicators to provide insights that support critical business decisions
- Laisse with Business Unit Vice Presidents, Project Managers, and other leadership to prepare weekly forecasts to meet global forecasting deadlines, including risk assessment and variance analyses against other reporting periods and prior forecast submittals
- Translate financial data in a practical manner to help Business Unit Leaders efficiently understand financial standing and make decisions to meet financial goals
- Work with Project Accounting and Project Managers to evaluate Percentage of Completion EAC (estimate at completion) for existing long-term projects to forecast revenue, cost, and margin
- Drive continued process improvement and development of budgeting and financial forecasting processes, including identifying opportunities for improvement and automation
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or Master’s degree preferred
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
- Strong, demonstrated leadership skills
- Ownership of assigned tasks and areas of responsibility; proven follow-through; execution to completion with minimal direction
- Superior analytical and problem-solving skills; Ability to self-check results and reasonableness before publication to ensure accuracy
- Ability to multi-task and handle several priorities simultaneously
- Desire to succeed in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment
- Ability to work both independently and in a team
- Prior FP&A experience preferred
- Experience in software related industry a plus
- Experience with OneStream and/or Deltek CostPoint a plus
