This full-time remote Forward Deployed Engineer (Palantir Foundry / AI & GenAI) role focuses on building and deploying data-driven applications directly within client environments. Day-to-day responsibilities include designing and implementing backend services and workflows on Palantir Foundry, integrating data sources, and developing AI and GenAI solutions that address specific business problems. The role involves collaborating with client stakeholders to understand requirements, translating them into technical designs, and iteratively improving solutions based on feedback. The Forward Deployed Engineer also maintains and optimizes production systems, ensures reliability and performance, and contributes to best practices for secure, scalable cloud-native development.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Computer Science, including data structures, algorithms, and systems concepts.
- Proficiency in Software Development and Programming, with experience building production-grade applications.
- Hands-on experience in Back-End Web Development, including APIs, microservices, and data integration.
- Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and their application in modern languages.
- Experience with Palantir Foundry or similar data platforms, and familiarity with AI / GenAI frameworks and tools.
- Comfort working in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and with CI/CD and DevOps practices.
- Ability to work directly with clients, gather requirements, and communicate complex technical concepts clearly.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience in data engineering, analytics, or machine learning in an enterprise context is a plus.
