Hewson Landscape Inc is looking for a hardworking and motivated Landscape Laborer to join our growing team in Plainfield, NJ! Responsibilities:
- Perform general landscaping duties including mowing, edging, trimming, and blowing
- Plant trees, shrubs, flowers, and ground cover as directed
- Apply mulch, soil, and other landscaping materials to job sites
- Operate and maintain landscaping equipment and hand tools safely
- Assist with irrigation, drainage, and hardscape installation projects
- Load and unload materials, equipment, and supplies from company vehicles
- Maintain clean and safe job sites throughout the workday
Requirements:
- Prior landscaping, groundskeeping, or outdoor labor experience preferred, but will train
- Ability to perform physically demanding work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Comfortable operating landscaping equipment such as mowers, trimmers, and blowers
- Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
- Ability to follow directions and work efficiently with a crew
- Valid driver's license a plus but not required
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
