ABOUT THE ROLE:
Truck Equipment Painter in our Paint/Body Shop in South Portland, ME.
The ideal candidate will have a meticulous eye for detail, knowledge of automotive paint and prep, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced team environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prepare truck surfaces for painting by sanding, cleaning, and applying primer.
- Utilize airless and/or conventional paint spraying techniques to apply paint evenly and efficiently.
- Perform buffing and detailing to ensure a smooth and polished finish.
- Coordinate with team members to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a secure work environment
REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience and knowledge in paint and body repair
- Prior experience working on quoted jobs
- Positive team player - gets along with others
- Career Minded - looking for a long-term employee
- Integrity - takes pride in their work and makes sure things are done correctly
- 2 years of experience in industrial/automative paint and body repair preferred
