Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Pastry Cook with expertise in laminated doughs to join our team. This is a position with a 4am start time; weekend availability is also required. In this role, you will work directly with our Head Pastry Chef to create and bake a variety of high-quality pastries, desserts and special holiday items. You will be an integral part of our production process, ensuring consistency and excellence in every item we bake.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and bake a variety of pastries and desserts.
Maintain a clean and organized workstation, adhering to strict food safety and sanitation guidelines.
Assist with inventory management.
Collaborate effectively with other bakery staff to ensure efficient production and workflow.
Maintain a positive and professional demeanor and a willingness to be a constructive member of the team.
Qualifications:
At least one year of professional experience working with laminated doughs and brioche.
Culinary degree or equivalent experience.
Passion for artisan baking and a strong commitment to quality.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent attention to detail and consistency.
Ability to work early morning and weekend shifts.
ServSafe certification.
Ability to lift 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods.

Compensation Details
Compensation: Hourly ($17.00 - $19.00) plus tips
