About the Role
As Plant Manager, you will lead the overall performance of a cooked and raw, multi-protein retail production facility. You’ll be responsible for ensuring safe, efficient, and cost-effective operations while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and quality. This is a hands-on leadership role where you will drive operational excellence and continuous improvement. You will work cross-functionally with key stakeholders to deliver business outcomes and support sustainable growth. The environment is fast-paced, dynamic, and focused on results.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily plant operations across production, maintenance, and logistics
- Ensure production targets are achieved safely, efficiently, and on budget
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to increase productivity
- Lead safety, food quality, and regulatory compliance programs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet business objectives
About You
You are an experienced manufacturing leader with a strong background in meat processing and plant operations. You thrive in fast-paced environments and bring a hands-on, solutions-focused approach to leadership. You are passionate about building strong teams and fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and performance. With strong commercial and operational acumen, you consistently deliver results and drive improvement. You are confident engaging with senior stakeholders and leading large, diverse teams.
You Will Bring
- Strong background in meat manufacturing environments
- Knowledge of USDA/FDA regulations and HACCP systems
- Proven leadership, financial, and operational management skills
- Demonstrated ability to lead large teams and drive operational improvements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Food Science, Business, or related field

Location & Work Arrangement
- This position is based on-site in Shelburne, Vermont (05482).
- Candidates must be able to commute daily to the Shelburne, Vermont office
- Relocation to the area prior to the start date is required if you are not currently local.
