Hewes Marine Company is seeking a hard-working individual who will perform all aspects of custodial work in offices, reception area, warehouses, and production areas, all building interiors and assist with grounds maintenance.

Responsibilities:

· Work well alone and with others

· Operate forklift (training will be provided)

· Operate all types of cleaning equipment

· Multi-task in an environment of shifting priorities

· Excellent time-management skills

· High regard for safety

· Other duties as assigned

Education/ Experience:

· High School Diploma or Equivalent

· Valid Washington State driver’s license

· 90 days experience in Janitorial / Cleaning preferred

Physical Requirements:

· Perform all aspects of custodial work in offices, reception area, warehouses, and production areas, all building interiors and assist with grounds maintenance – possible frequent vibratory tasks in Spring/Summer months (lawn mower, weed eater, etc.), empty trash cans and cardboard throughout plant weighing 5 – 35 lbs., operate forklift after training, operate truck, sometimes with trailer attached after training, operate all types of cleaning equipment

· Sitting seldomly to occasionally if driving truck or operating forklift

· Walking/Standing constantly

· Perform work from ladder seldomly/rarely

· Bend/Stoop/Squat/Kneel/Twist and climb stairs occasionally

· Reaching with one or both arms frequently

· Work above shoulders occasionally

· Wrist Flexing/Grasping frequently

· Fine Finger Manipulation occasionally

· Foot controls seldomly to occasionally while driving truck or operating forklift

· Lift up to 50 lbs. seldomly

· Lift up to 35 lbs. occasionally

· Lift up to 20 lbs. frequently

· Carry up to 15 lbs. frequently

· Push/pull frequently up to 50 lbs. force exerted

· PPE: Chemical resistant gloves, cut resistant gloves, safety glasses, hearing protection – seldomly use half mask respirator

Seldom: 1-10% of shift Occasional: 11-33% of shift Frequent: 34-66% of shift Constant: 67% of shift

Compensation:

• This position is a full-time, hourly position within Hewes Marine Company
• Work schedule Monday – Friday
• Some overtime and weekend work are required.
• Wage- Utility I-II- $21 to $25.50 per hour DOQ
