FULL-TIME WINDOW TREATMENT INSTALLER
We are looking for a Full-Time Installer to join our team! This position involves installing and repairing a variety of window covering products, including blinds, shades, custom drapery, awnings, exterior shades, screens and more. While most of our work is indoors, there are occasional outdoor projects as well.
Responsibilities:
- Consult clients to determine the best window-covering solutions for all exterior products and occasionally other window treatment products when necessary.
- Accurately record window measurements for company documentation and job preparation.
- General window treatment installation procedures including the securing of all brackets and hardware, leveling, and ensuring proper function of treatment for a variety of applications including various sized windows and doors
- Safely remove existing window coverings prior to installation (occasionally).
- Prepare installation areas to ensure proper fit and finish.
- Install blinds, drapery, shutters, awnings (manual and motorized), and similar products.
- Repair or replace components of window treatments as needed.
- Educate clients on proper use, operation, and maintenance of installed products.

- Thorough understanding of window types, terms and installation mounting: single-hung, double-hung, double, triple, inside vs. outside mount, etc.
- Dedication to providing outstanding customer service.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Professional and respectful attitude—treat everyone like a valued customer.
- Maintain high standards of performance and reliability.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Able to pass a background check.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or a G.E.D Certificate.
- At least one year of experience in window treatment installation services and/or new home construction (a plus but not required). Training provided.
