Window Cleaner (3080)

Employee is responsible for outdoor and indoor window cleaning throughout the summer then in fall will have the opportunity to transition to a general cleaner with HES at the U46 School District.

General Cleaners are responsible for the cleanliness and maintenance of all assigned areas. General Cleaners perform any combination of cleaning duties to maintain the daily upkeep and cleanliness of the facility.

Monday-Friday

Full time We are currently seeking a custodian to perform daily cleaning and custodial services across our educational facility. This includes cleaning classrooms, hallways, restrooms, and other shared spaces. The custodial duties will also include floor care, trash removal, and sanitizing high-touch areas. A successful candidate will have prior experience in custodial work and possess a strong knowledge of safe and efficient cleaning techniques and safety protocols. Ensuring the cleanliness and hygiene of the facility is essential to the role.Job duties consist of but are not limited to the following:

• Sweep, mop, and vacuum.
• Dust and Clean walls, vents, screens, furniture, drinking fountains, light fixtures, window blinds, brass, and other interior fixtures
• Wash interior and exterior windows and glass doors.
• Sweep entryways, empty exterior cigarette urns, and empty trashcans immediately outside building entrances.
• Clean restrooms, plunger sinks and toilets, and replenish supplies.
• Complete work requests to notify management of needed repair work.
• Organize and supply custodial closets as needed.
• Move, remove, and/or set up furniture, furnishings, supplies, equipment, and any other items, inside specified rooms for special functions as directed.
• Additional job-related duties as required by the supervisor.
