What are the responsibilities and job description for the General Cleaner - Mid-day shift 10am - 6:30pm position at HES Facilities?
General Cleaners are responsible for the cleanliness and maintenance of all assigned areas. General Cleaners perform any combination of cleaning duties to maintain the daily upkeep and cleanliness of the facility:
* Sweep, mop, dust and vacuum
* Cleaning of restrooms, classrooms, offices, athletic rooms, other rooms and areas of schools
*Low and high dusting of walls, vents, screens, furniture, drinking fountains, light fixtures, window blinds, strike plates on doors and other chrome and interior fixtures
*Wash interior and exterior windows and glass doors
*Sweep, Mop and Vacuum entryways and mats
*Empty interior and exteriors trashcans
*Assist in set-up for events inside specified rooms as directed
*Notify management/supervisor of needed repair work
*Notify management/supervisor of supplies needing replenished *Organize custodial closets as needed
*Additional job-related duties as required by the supervisor
