Delivery Driver Duties and Responsibilities

Delivery drivers have a variety of duties in addition to driving their routes and making their deliveries. Other important responsibilities include:

• Following the best practices for safety, both on the road and while loading or unloading a truck
• Meeting delivery deadlines
• Performing basic truck maintenance

• Loading and unloading cargo
• Custodial responsibilities when needed
• Setting up delivery order requests from inventory and completing deliveries around campus

  Education: High school degree preferred but not required

  Experience: Previous cleaning experience a plus

• The ability to reach, bend, stoop, wipe, push and pull
