Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of rooms, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces to ensure a spotless environment
- Handle laundry duties such as washing, folding, and organizing linens and towels with care and efficiency
- Maintain floor care by sweeping, scrubbing, waxing, and polishing various flooring types to preserve their appearance and longevity
- Ensure all sanitation standards are met by properly disinfecting bathrooms, kitchens, and high-touch areas
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client requests promptly and professionally
- Manage janitorial supplies inventory, restocking items as needed to ensure continuous cleaning operations
- Assist with housekeeping management tasks in larger facilities or hotels to coordinate cleaning schedules and team assignments
Requirements
- Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning, custodial work, or hotel housekeeping is highly desirable
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques, floor care, carpet cleaning, and sanitation procedures
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members
- Ability to perform physical tasks including standing for extended periods, bending, lifting heavy objects, and climbing ladders when necessary
- Experience with laundry operations and janitorial equipment is preferred
- Familiarity with cleaning products and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment
- Previous experience in hospitality or hotel housekeeping management is a plus but not required
