Herzog-Meier Auto Center is seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our Accounting team.
This is a hands-on accounting position supporting a busy multi-franchise automotive dealership. We are looking for someone who is organized, accurate, dependable, and comfortable taking ownership of their work from start to finish.
Dealership accounting and CDK experience are highly preferred.
What You'll Do
- Process and code vendor invoices
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
- Process vendor payments and maintain accurate vendor accounts
- Post and reconcile accounts receivable payments
- Monitor and follow up on outstanding receivables
- Assist with daily deposits and cash/credit card reconciliation
- Reconcile assigned accounting schedules and clearing accounts
- Research aged, unusual, or out-of-balance items
- Assist with month-end accounting and closing responsibilities
- Work with Sales, Service, Parts, and other departments to resolve accounting issues
- Maintain accurate documentation and follow established internal controls
Systems We Use
CDK | Yooz | Zevez | Microsoft Excel
Experience with CDK or other automotive dealership accounting systems is a strong plus. Experience with Yooz, Zevez, or similar AP automation and payment platforms is also preferred.
What We're Looking For
- AP and/or AR accounting experience
- Automotive dealership accounting experience preferred
- CDK experience highly preferred

- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a high-volume environment
