Duties

• Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting rental vehicles that meet their needs
• Manage the rental process from reservation to vehicle return, including data entry and documentation
• Conduct vehicle inspections before and after rentals to ensure safety and cleanliness standards are met
• Handle phone inquiries with professionalism, providing information about rental options and policies
• Maintain accurate inventory management records, including vehicle availability and maintenance schedules
• Assist with front desk operations, including administrative tasks such as filing, reporting, and customer correspondence
• Support sales efforts through upselling additional services or insurance options to enhance customer experience
• Perform manual handling tasks such as heavy lifting when moving or preparing vehicles for rental or maintenance

Requirements

• Proven experience in retail sales, customer service, or automotive rental industry preferred but not required
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for inventory control and data entry tasks
• Excellent communication skills, including public speaking and phone etiquette
• Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse customer bases
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Word and Excel; familiarity with inventory management software is a plus
• Ability to operate standard passenger vehicles safely and confidently (including manual transmission if applicable)
• Physical capability for heavy lifting and manual handling activities involved in vehicle preparation and maintenance support
• Previous administrative experience or retail math knowledge is advantageous for managing transactions accurately
• Demonstrated negotiation skills to promote additional services effectively
