What are the responsibilities and job description for the Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning Apprentice position at Hertler Plumbing & HVAC?
We are a growing residential HVAC & plumbing company looking for a reliable HVAC Apprentice to work directly alongside the owner and lead installers. This is a hands-on role with real learning—not a broom-pushing job.
What You'll Be Doing
- Assisting with residential HVAC installs and service work
- Carrying equipment, setting condensers, running linesets, wiring, flue work
- Learning proper installation standards, diagnostics, and best practices
- Keeping job sites clean, organized, and professional
- Must be able to lift 150 pounds
What We're Looking For
- Mechanical aptitude (trade school, prior HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or construction experience is a plus)
- Strong work ethic and good attitude
- Shows up on time, every day
- Willing to learn and take direction
- Clean driving record preferred
