What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cabinet Refrigeration Technician position at HERSHEY CREAMERY CO?
The Refrigeration Technician’s main responsibility is diagnosing and repairing company equipment. The Refrigeration Technician will advise the Cabinet Department Manager of any major issues with company equipment and assist with providing a proper solution. The Refrigeration Technician is also required to assist with all questions regarding refrigeration systems that the branch offices may have.
Responsibilities include:
· Diagnosing and repairing company freezers.
· Provide recommendations for improvements regarding the repair of company equipment.
· Assisting Cabinet Department Supervisor in completing repair tasks associated with general refrigeration repair.
· Assist Cabinet Department Manager and Cabinet Department Supervisor with requested duties.
· Technician must provide their own tools.
Qualifications:$22.00 - $25.00/hr depending on experience
Excellent problem-solving skills with a solution-based focus is required.
· Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routes, and standard accepted practices.
· High school diploma required.
- Must be able to complete twisting and reaching motions while seated
- Ability to lift 25-50 pounds
- Must be able to pass all pre-employment drug screens and criminal background checks
