The Sr VP, Integrated Planning will oversee planning for strategic, cross-functional business initiatives across all parts of the company (including operations, commercial, marketing, technology, HR and finance, and other support-related functions). Overall responsibilities focus on ensuring consistent and integrated planning and that execution is in alignment with the company’s short- and long-term strategy.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Coordinate key cross-functional projects across the organization.
- Lead analytical effort that provides support to strategic projects and operational leaders across the business, with a focus on guest operations, host experience, and revenue.
- Contribute to the company’s strategic direction and ongoing performance improvement work with the ELT. Facilitate annual planning processes, including the development and alignment of goals and agendas, essential information coordination, and functional alignment as needed. Lead communications to cascade priorities throughout the organization.
- Lead cross-functional strategy to maintain critical knowledge and strategic information sharing across the ELT through all available internal communication tools and resources. Prioritize, organize, and condense information disseminated to the ELT. Ensure members of the ELT are well versed in information that is critical to the success of the organization.
- Drive cross-functional decision-making processes.
- Lead business communications focused on sharing information on key business priorities, progress, issues/opportunities to key stakeholders include Herschend BOD, leadership forums (VPs, Directors), etc.
- Support the ELT in maximizing the leadership team’s effectiveness by ensuring they are effectively using people’s time and focused on priority topics supporting short- and long-term company strategies.
- Represents Herschend in cross-brand initiatives, as identified by Herschend leadership.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree required. An advanced degree in business administration or a similar field strongly preferred.
- Requires 10-15 years of experience in a variety of roles with increasing responsibility. Breadth of experience ideally includes analytics, communications, marketing, and strategy development.

- Ability to travel consistently to properties and industry events (up to 25%).
