What are the responsibilities and job description for the Seasonal Order Taking Representative position at Herrschners?
In this position, your primary responsibility is taking phone orders from our customers. You will also assist with processing and entering mail orders. Additionally, you will provide basic customer service duties-entering catalog requests, process catalog removals and assist customers with their orders. Additional duties may include creating craft models for our product development department, plus additional miscellaneous assignments.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Ability to manage a large volume of inbound customer calls and other assigned duties timely and effectively
- Consistently provide our customers with a welcoming, friendly greeting in a clear speaking voice
- Verify customer information and set clear expectations regarding their order
- Identify opportunities to upsell product and promotions
- Meet personal/team qualitative and quantitative targets
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Sound ability to navigate multiple websites while on calls
- Excellent keyboard skills-accuracy and efficiency a must
- Exceptional ability to multi-task, set priorities, and manage time effectively
- Ability to work well in a team environment and individually
- Ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing
- Excellent attendance and punctuality
REQUIREMENTS:
- Successfully complete a background check
- Must be 18 years of age or older
