Job Summary
We are looking for a directional drilling crew laborer to assist with daily tasks on underground drilling projects. The role involves supporting the crew with general labor duties, helping maintain equipment and job sites, and assisting wherever needed to keep work progressing smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with setup and operation of directional drilling equipment
- Support the drill operator and locator during drilling operations
- Handle and organize tools, materials, and equipment on site
- Perform general labor tasks including digging, shoveling, and site cleanup
- Load and unload materials and supplies
- Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Qualifications
- Previous construction or labor experience preferred (drilling experience is an asset but not required)
- Ability to perform physically demanding work in various weather conditions
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Valid driver’s license (Chauffeurs License preferred)
- Knowledge of underground utilities is an asset
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
