About the Role
We’re looking for a customer-focused Universal Banker II to join our team. This position plays a key role in providing excellent service, supporting branch operations, and ensuring compliance. You’ll handle both personal and business accounts, process complex transactions, and serve as a trusted resource for customers. You’ll also mentor newer Universal Bankers, contribute to business development, and promote bank products and services that meet customer needs.

You’ll handle both personal and business accounts, process complex transactions, and serve as a trusted resource for customers. You’ll also mentor newer Universal Bankers, contribute to business development, and promote bank products and services that meet customer needs.
What You’ll Do
- Open and maintain consumer, business, and trust accounts (including CDs and IRAs)
- Assist customers with Online Banking, Bill Pay, debit cards, and mobile banking
- Process wire transfers and ensure compliance with documentation requirements
- Support consumer loan applications and basic lending functions
- Balance ATMs, manage night drop and safe deposit box procedures
- Respond to customer inquiries in person, by phone, and through call queues
- Promote bank products and services through needs-based conversations
- Perform branch opening/closing and maintain security and compliance standards
- Provide mentoring and support to Universal Banker I team members
- Conduct quality control reviews of new account activity for accuracy
- Provide teller support as needed
What We’re Looking For
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree preferred
- 5 years of retail banking experience (required)
- Previous leadership or mentoring experience within a branch setting
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and time management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic banking systems
Ability to pass a background check - Knowledge of banking regulations, products, and services
