The Herreshoff Marine museum is hiring a Summer Boat Building Instructor for 2024. The boat building instructor works with 10 high school students to build a boat over a 5-week period in July and August. This will be the 8th year that the museum has offered this program through its partnership with the Rhode Island Marine Trades Association.
Qualifications & Skills:
- College Degree or equivalent
- Previous boat building or relevant work experience
- Previous experience teaching and instructing youth
- Strong leadership ability, work ethic and communication skills
- CPR and First Aid Certification
- Highest ethics and background check
