Regional CDL‑A Truck Driver – Atlanta, GA

Position Type: Full‑Time
Home Time: Weekly (Some routes may require 1–2 nights out)
Position Overview
We are seeking experienced and safety‑focused Regional CDL‑A Truck Drivers based in the Atlanta, GA area . This role offers consistent freight, stable schedules, competitive pay, and reliable home time.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A tractor‑trailers on assigned regional routes
- Transport freight efficiently while meeting delivery schedules
- Perform pre‑trip, in‑route, and post‑trip vehicle inspections
- Maintain accurate electronic logs (ELD) and delivery documentation
- Communicate proactively with dispatch regarding routes, delays, or equipment concerns
- Comply with FMCSA, DOT, and company safety policies at all times [truckingedge.com]
What’s Required:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Must be over 21 years of age
- Minimum two (2) years of driving experience in a Class A vehicle
- Valid Medical Examiner’s Certificate by our preferred network of clinics. Cards issued within 45 days are subject to approval.
- Load and unload trucks/trailers as required; ensure that all materials are properly secured for transit
- Complete pre/post-trip vehicle inspections; ensure that required preventive maintenance is completed
- Follow all DOT requirements as well as company policies and procedures
- Willingness to work overtime as needed and some weekends
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30.00 - $33.00 per hour
