We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Counselor to join our team. As a Counselor, you will provide professional guidance and support to individuals dealing with various substance abuse and mental health issues. Your role will involve utilizing different therapeutic techniques, such as cognitive behavioral therapy, and cognitive processing therapy, to help clients overcome challenges and improve their chances of sobriety. - Conduct individual counseling sessions with clients, utilizing appropriate therapeutic approaches based on their needs
- Develop personalized treatment plans for clients and regularly evaluate their progress
- Utilize cognitive behavioral therapy techniques to help clients identify and change negative thought patterns
- Implement behavioral therapy interventions to address specific behavioral issues
- Offer clinical counseling services to individuals experiencing a wide range of mental health concerns
- Provide patient care in a compassionate and empathetic manner
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for clients

To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills:
- Strong knowledge and experience in counseling techniques
- Proficiency in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and behavioral therapy approaches
- Applied behavior analysis skills when working with individuals with developmental disabilities
- Experience in clinical counseling, addressing various mental health concerns
- Ability to provide compassionate patient care
- Experience working with Veterans is highly desirable
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
