Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive Safety, Trade Skills Training, and Field Asset Manager to lead our safety initiatives, recruit electrical craft field employees, develop comprehensive trade skills training programs, and oversee field assets across the wiregrass area. In this pivotal role, you will champion occupational health and safety standards, ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations, and foster a culture of continuous improvement. Your expertise will empower teams through targeted training, effective asset management, and rigorous safety protocols, driving operational excellence and safeguarding our workforce.
Duties
- Develop, implement, and monitor safety programs aligned with OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) standards, EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) regulations, and workers' compensation law requirements.
- Recruit - advertise , solicit,communicate and interview employment applications for all field staff job openings.
- Conduct regular safety audits, root cause analyses of incidents, and report writing to identify hazards and recommend corrective actions.
- Train - Design and deliver electrical craft trade skills and safety training sessions focused on efficient learning and skill retention.
- Asset Mangement - Manage field and project level assets by overseeing maintenance schedules, inventory control, and ensuring optimal utilization of equipment and tools.
- Facilitate ongoing training & development initiatives to enhance teamwork in electrical craft skills.
Requirements
- Proven experience in commercial and industrial electrical construction environments with a strong understanding of their skill and safety requirements.
- Demonstrated ability to observe worksites and implement custom / site specific hazard mitigation.
- Strong electrical trade knowledge to implement training program for all skill levels.
- Excellent organizational skills for managing field assets (materials and equipment) effectively while maintaining detailed records.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment; proactive problem solver committed to continuous improvement.
Pay: $53,202.36 - $64,071.65 per year
