HBCSD is currently comprised of three school sites, Hermosa View, Hermosa Vista, and Hermosa Valley School. Job Summary
Job Summary
Under the direction of the site Administrator, the preschool teacher will provide developmentally appropriate care and curriculum for 3-4 year old children. The setting will provide a continuum of options for both special needs and typically developing children. The teacher will participate in curriculum and program development as well as periodic student assessments to ensure quality early-childhood education.
Requirements / Qualifications
Letter of Introduction Three (3) current Letters of Recommendation Resume Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential with age-level endorsement issued by CDA National Credentialing Program-Council for Early Childhood Professional Recognition and 6 months on-the-job training and/or work experience in a licensed child care center. Or, Child Development Associate Teacher Permit, Teacher Permit or Master Teacher Permit issued by the California Commission Teacher Credentialing.
