Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. Duties
- Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures, ensuring comfort and safety.
- Perform intake procedures, including taking vital signs and documenting patient history.
- Administer medications as directed by physicians and maintain accurate records of medication administration.
- Utilize EHR systems to manage patient information efficiently and accurately.
- Conduct basic life support measures when necessary and respond to emergencies in the clinic or hospital setting.
- Support orthopedic practice by preparing patients for examinations.
- Assist with ICD coding for billing purposes and ensure compliance with medical regulations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the clinical environment to promote patient safety.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide comprehensive care for patients- office/surgical settings.
- Prior authorization submissions.
