- Greet and welcome members and guests with warmth and professionalism upon their arrival.
- Provide detailed information about the menu, daily specials, and beverage offerings.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring special requests and dietary restrictions are properly communicated to the kitchen.
- Serve meals and beverages promptly and accurately, maintaining a high level of attention to detail and presentation.
- Anticipate and fulfill members' needs throughout their dining experience, offering suggestions and recommendations as appropriate.
- Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely and coordinated service.
- Set up dining tables with precision, ensuring proper placement of utensils, glassware, and linens.
- Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the dining area and work stations.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and sanitation standards to ensure the well-being of both guests and staff.
- Previous experience as a server in an upscale restaurant, country club, or fine dining establishment is highly preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with members, guests, and colleagues.
- Strong knowledge of food and beverage items, including wine and cocktail offerings.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of professionalism and composure.
- Attention to detail, ensuring orders are accurate and presented beautifully.
- A positive and friendly demeanor, with a genuine passion for providing exceptional service.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the country club's operational hours.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, lift, and carry trays for extended periods.
