Salary Range: Hiring Range: $15.00-$17.00 per hour

Job Summary

The Hostess is responsible for warmly welcoming members and guests, managing reservations, and ensuring a seamless dining experience. This role requires professionalism, excellent communication skills, and an ability to handle a fast-paced, high-end environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet and seat members and guests promptly and courteously.
• Manage reservations and waitlists using the club’s reservation system.
• Coordinate with servers and dining staff to ensure efficient table service.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization at the host stand and entrance.
• Address member inquiries and accommodate special requests when possible.
• Monitor dining room flow and adjust seating plans to optimize service.
• Communicate with management regarding VIP guests or special events.
• Assist in setting up and breaking down dining areas as needed.
• Uphold the club’s standards of hospitality, etiquette, and professionalism.
  
  

Qualifications & Skills

• Prior experience in a fine dining, hospitality, or private club setting preferred.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and remain composed under pressure.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
• Familiarity with reservation systems and basic computer skills.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
  
  

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Light lifting may be required (menus, reservation books, etc.).
