Job Posting: Substitute Educational Assistant
Hermiston School District is seeking applicants for on-call Substitute Educational Assistants to support students and teachers in the classroom.
Substitute Educational Assistants work as needed at the Elementary, Middle, or High School level. Assignments may include general education classrooms, Special Education (including Life Skills), or English Language Learner (ELL) settings.
Responsibilities:

Assist classroom teachers with instructional and non-instructional tasks.

Support students individually or in small groups.

Help maintain a safe and positive learning environment.
Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Flexibility and willingness to work with students of all ages and abilities.

Experience working with children is preferred.
This is an on-call, as-needed position and does not guarantee regular work hours. Ideal candidates enjoy working with students and are dependable, adaptable, and team-oriented.
